Pollution is one of the major environmental problems we are battling in today’s society at large.
However, pollution is the illegal disposal of waste products ranging from degradable and biodegradable waste materials that could be harmful or useful to the environment but on the adverse harm. This has become one of our major problems in today’s world where human activities violate the ethics of society as well as endangering the lives of humans and that of animals as well.
To start with, pollution comes in different forms and ways so of which are known and some are unknown to us. Alongside, the types of pollution today are plastic pollution, air pollution, water pollution, land pollution
First of all plastic pollution is the most common of all listed above .plastic pollution is mainly caused by our day to day activities which most of which cannot be carried out without plastics. This has caused harm to our society at large and even went to the extent of endangering the life and health of the ocean and sea habitat as well. This is one of the sources of food and income which most countries rely on. When these plastics materials are not properly disposed of, they get washed down by the rain or carried away by the wind and they end up in our oceans and the sea habitat mistake these things for food which when eaten it endangers their life and that of ours as well because we end up eating them.
Another is air pollution which is caused by everyday human activities ranging from the burning of waste materials, smoke from faulty vehicles, emission from industries, and much more. One of the most harmful and deadly effects of air pollution is the depletion of the ozone layer and emission of harmful carbon monoxide which is harmful when breathing into our body. Meanwhile, the ozone layer is a layer between the sun and the earth that helps in the prevention of harmful radiation from reaching the earth’s surface.
However, pollution could be prevented by taking safety precautions and measures which even though will not eradicate it all but at least will be reduced. As well as making our environment a friendly place for humans, plants, and animals as well.
Moreover, some safety precautions could be taken in the disposal of plastic materials properly in waste bins and incinerators. Some of these waste materials could be recycled or reused.
In conclusion, enlightening others about the dangers of pollution will help a lot in eradicating pollution likewise awareness of dangers of pollutions could be publicized to the media and people at large on how to maintain a friendly environment because an adage says ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness.’ Let us make a difference in my world, your world, and our world and we would notice the difference. I would like to end by saying ‘Change begins with me.’

A garden greenhouse keeps the plants warmer then they would be outside. It’s does this because they glass traps some of the sun’s radiation energy. In a similar wau, the sun’s radiation that would otherwise escape. Without this greenhouse effect the average surface temperature would be about 33°c lower than it is – 18°c instead of a nice comfortable 15°c.
Some gases are better than others at keeping the earth warm
Oxygen and nitrogen are not very effective, but carbon dioxide is very good. The earth absorbs visible and ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. The earth re-emits this radiation as infrared (IR). Infrared radiation is absorbed by carbon dioxide making them vibrate faster and increasing their energy. The energy is passed on to other molecules in the atmosphere thus, making the atmosphere hotter.
Carbon dioxide is such a good “greenhouse gas” That there maybe a problem. Scientists are concerned that the human activities are putting so much extra carbon dioxide into the atmosphere that the earth is overheating. The problem is known as global warming. Some of the effect of global warming could be good. In places with good rainfall, farmers will be able to grow bigger crops. But there will be more drought. The level of the sea will rise and this is because water expands when heated, and also because some of the ice at the poles will melt.
Carbon dioxide is not the only greenhouse gas
But it is the most serious one because there is so much of it- so much that there is no chance of removing it, from all the car exhaust, gas boiler and other places it pours from. The only way we can reduce it is to cut down on our use of fossil fuels.
Even if we cut back on using it global warming will continue for years. This is because much carbon dioxide has already been put in the atmosphere from fossil fuels we have burned in the past.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
